Sdr. Ooi serving the needs of the public
I was appointed as a councilor of MPPP on 01.01.1997. For the past year, with the assistance of the council's officers and party comrades, I have been able to serve the following:
- Successfully applied for 46 streetlights.
- Successfully applied for cement, sand and 3 inches stone, for upgrading of Balik Pulau hill roads.
- Successfully applied for quarry waste and dust respectively to improve the village earth roads.
- Attending and solving various problems faced by the hawkers.
- Helping property owners to solve their assessment problem.
- Assisting house owners to regularise extension to their buildings.
- Solving many local problems such as repair and cleansing of the public drains, disposal of rubbish, road repair and re-surfacing of roads.
Sdr. Ooi is loving and caring !!
Service Centre:I have also set up my service center at Balik Pulau Moral Uplifting Society premise. It is open to the public on every Tuesday from 8.30pm to 10.30pm. Apart from hearing public complaints, more importantly, I do explain the policies of the state and local Governments to the public.
